Birba Wine Bar is located in Hayes Valley, San Francisco. We are a cozy, laid-back wine bar with intimate seating and delicious food and drinks. Our garden patio and space offer a respite from the bustle of the city, where we provide a sanctuary to truly relax and enjoy the company of friends.

World traveled owner, Angela Valgiusti, has spent over a decade as a sommelier and restaurant manager in SF. She opened Birba which means “little troublemaker” in the spring of 2015 and now is happy to offer both al-fresco dining and retail wine for the road.

To our Birba friends, please note that we are a walk in only establishment & for us to seat your party,
all members must be present. Our policy ensures that we can provide efficient service and a smooth dining experience for everyone.

During busy service periods, we may limit dining times to ensure we can accommodate all guests. Parties of 1–3 are allotted up to 1.5 hours, while parties of 4 or more are allotted up to 2 hours. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
