The folks at Taft Street Winery have always been utterly unconcerned with convention. Renegades from the beginning, two brothers and a friend started making wine in a garage on Taft Street in Oakland in 1979. For more than 40 years, we’ve created exceptional, unfussy wines with great Sonoma County fruit, a small and dedicated team, and a winery we made in an old apple processing barn.

Taft Street Winery continues in the garagistes traditions to this day, producing limited production, handcrafted wines from select Russian River Valley vineyards. Stop by and discover why all roads lead to Taft Street.

Tasting Details
Gather with friends and family at Taft Street Winery. Enjoy handcrafted Sonoma County wines at our indoor tasting bar or outdoors on our shaded patio and sunny deck. Bring a picnic, play bocce or cornhole, and spend the afternoon together.

Weekday Visits
Weekday tastings are available Monday–Friday by appointment, based on our team’s availability.
Tastings are $15 per person.
Tasting fees are waived with the purchase of three bottles.
